Ingredients:
White Rice 2 cups
Lemon juice 4 tablespoons
Salt
Vegetable Oil 6 tablespoons
Black Mustard Seeds (Mustard Seeds, Aavalu) 1/2
teaspoon
Curry Leaves 15
Peanuts raw 1/4 cup
Green Chilis 4 medium
Turmeric (Haldi powder) 1/2 teaspoon
Water 31/2 cups |
How to Prepare:
In a large bowl, add water and rice and cook until
well done. Keep it aside.
Meanwhile
in a large skillet, heat cooking oil on low heat.
To this add black mustard, peanuts, turmeric and
fry till peanuts start to split. Then add chopped
green chilies, curry leaves and salt. After three
minutes remove from heat and add the lemon juice
and stir. To this add cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
You
can adjust the amount of lemon juice according to
your taste.
