| One question
I frequently hear in my training classes is, "How do
I save a picture that I've found on the internet?" Doing
this is really simple. In your internet browser, right click
on the picture that you want. In Netscape Navigator, select
"SAVE IMAGE AS". In Internet Explorer, select "SAVE
PICTURE AS". Then give it a name and a location.
If
you want to use it as a wallpaper background image for your
desktop, then choose "SET AS WALLPAPER" instead.
This will save the picture as a bitmap image in your c:\windows
folder. Netscape Navigator gives it the name "NETSCAPE
WALLPAPER" and Internet Explorer uses the name "INTERNET
EXPLORER WALLPAPER" (pretty original, huh?). Those
names will show up in your list of wallpaper pictures to
choose from. |
