| AutoComplete
is a pretty nifty feature in IE5. I know it has saved me a
bit of typing now and again--especially for frequently used
fields (name, e-mail address, etc.). But what if you have
an entry that you would rather not keep? You don’t have
to flush the entire cache of data to remove a few individual
entries. When you're entering data into an 'AutoComplete aware'
form, before you start typing anything, double click on an
empty field. At that point, you could see a drop-down list
of previously entered strings for that form. Hover your mouse
cursor over an entry you wish to delete and tap the 'Delete'
key. |
