find what I'm looking for in a Knowledge Base, I turn to newsgroups.
If you have never visited a newsgroup, you're missing out
on one of the Internet's most interesting communities. You
can usually turn to a good newsgroup to find information on
almost any topic. Before posting a question or comment, start
by searching for the topic you are interested in. (Remember,
I said the newsgroups were good, but the information you receive
might not be. That is for you to decide.) If you don't have
a news server, try using
Deja.Com or
Remarq.Com as your starting point.
eGroups.Com is another good site to check out. You can
search for more free public news servers at
Jammed.Com/~newzbot/. |
